Customer Protection Program

Fashion Furniture Rental’s Customer Protection Program (CPP) is a damage waiver equal to 10% of your monthly rental rate.

CPP protects you against the following:
• Accidental Customer Damage
• Earthquake, fire, water, and other natural disasters
• Food and beverage stains

While Homeowner's and Renter's Insurance cover damages which occur due to earthquake, fire, water, and other natural disasters, most policies will not cover damage, such as food and beverage stains, to rental furniture. This leaves you liable for damages caused during your rental and will be charged the full replacement value for any pieces deemed un-rentable upon return to the Distribution Center.

With our CPP, you don't have to worry about damage that may occur to your rented furniture, except as specified below. In general, by accepting our CPP, Fashion assumes the risk and responsibility for damages listed above. Simply put, it transfers the responsibility for damages from the customer to Fashion.

CPP does NOT protect from being charged for pet damage and pet hair, lost or stolen property, bed bugs, and malicious damage.


Here's an example that illustrates the value of our CPP:

3 Month Term Monthly Rental Rate: $275.00
10% Customer Protection Program: $27.50 per month
On the entire lease, you will pay $82.50 in CPP payments.
Assume you spill a glass of wine on your sofa. If not for the CPP, you would be responsible for the replacement cost of the sofa which, on average, can run over $800.00.
