Fashion Furniture Rental's "Growing Green" Initiative

Fashion Furniture Rental is dedicated to making a positive impact in the way we do business, socially-responsibly and eco-consciously. 2012 marks the beginning of our "growing green" initiative, the first steps on a long journey to substantially reduce our carbon footprint in the years to come.


In addition to our Raving Fans and Fish! philosophies, we've adopted an awareness that our actions, individually and collectively, have a meaningful impact on the world around us. Company-wide, Fashion is evaluating our operations from a variety of perspectives to create a plan that minimizes waste, promotes the use of eco-friendly products, and provides a green alternative to our customers looking for one.


We realize that this initiative isn't something that will happen overnight. So, we have coined the "growing green" motto, so our customers and partners can grow with us and see how the below list grows!

• Drastically reducing paper and plastic marketing materials - Virtual Brochure Launched with Bio-Degradable seed card in lieu of Paper Brochure


• Elimination of paper and plastic disposable kitchen plates, cups and utensils at all of our locations.


• Increased recycling efforts at each location. We're sorting recyclable items like cans, bottles, boxes, paper, etc. so they can be reused.


• Including Compact Fluorescent Light Bulbs (CFL's) in each delivery with our lamps to reduce energy consumption and lower our customers' energy bills.


• Stocking LED Televisions which consume less energy than Plasma or LCD TV's.


• Our eco-friendly Eco Latex Perfect Beds are made from bamboo and palm-based foams in comparison to typical petroleum-based foams.


• Director of Sustainability position created to work with company leaders to promote green initiatives in each department
